Never Forever: The Song
Never Forever is a song inspired by a conversation I overheard on the train, going from Caesarea to Tel-Aviv. Two young women behind me were gossiping about the actress Gal Gadot, who at the time had another blockbuster movie just being released, Wonder Woman 1984.
That conversation was so intriguing to me that it I had to take out my trusted Everbook and jot it down, word by word. By that evening it became a song and a bit later isnpired a story that quickly grew into the novella Never Forever.
Never Forever
“Her life is like a movie, she’s acting like a star.”
“She’s all so predictable.”
“Her script’s already written, it’s a hit or it’s a miss...”
“No wonder she’s ignoring us”
“Well, you can say, it’s all a play!”“Beautiful, and it bites. Whatever...”
“Yes, she’s beautiful but corrupted!”
“She can change, just not forever...”
“She can never change, never forever!”“She barely passed in high school, her lines were always flat.”
“She smiles like she rehearsed it.”
“She sucked up to her teacher, heard she slept with that old rat,”
“yeah, that’s how she got started.”
“Well, talent’s cheap when you can fake all that.”“She lied ‘bout her age and got her nose redone.”
“She starved herself to look that hot.”
“She’s dating that director, just to land that one,”
“The one with Brad, they flew to Cannes.”
“...God, I’d sell my soul just to be her once.”
