This site, ulliel.com, is run by S. Ulliel.
What gets collected
When you sign up for the newsletter, your email address and first name go to Kit, the email service that delivers the letter. That is the only personal data this site asks you for.
The Kit script only loads when you tap or focus the signup form, so just visiting a page on the site does not by itself send anything to Kit.
Visiting the site involves the usual web traffic data. Your IP address and browser headers reach Cloudflare, which hosts the site, and the page loads fonts from Google. Both of those receive standard request information when the page renders.
If you accept analytics cookies on the banner, Google Analytics tracks page views and session data using cookies. If you decline, it does not load at all.
Cookies
Two kinds, only.
A consent cookie called ulliel_consent, which records your Accept or Decline choice for one year. Without it, the banner shows on every visit.
Google Analytics cookies, which only set if you accept on the banner.
You can change your mind at any time. The “Cookie settings” link in the footer reopens the banner.
Where the data goes
The newsletter mailing list lives in Kit’s systems, based in the US. Site traffic logs and cached files sit with Cloudflare. Analytics data sits with Google. None of these resell your data to advertisers, and S. Ulliel does not share the email list with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask to see what is stored about you, correct it or delete it. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, the simplest way is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any letter. For everything else, email [email protected].
If you live in the EU or UK and feel any of this has been handled badly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
