2021 · The train from Caesarea to Tel Aviv is usually just a commute. One day I ended up sitting near two women who were taking Gal Gadot apart, piece by piece. One of them swore she went to high school with her. The gossip was so specific and so petty that I started writing it down. I couldn't help it. That same afternoon I turned their phrases into a song. By the end of the week the song had become a question I couldn't drop... what happens when that kind of obsession stops being talk and starts being the whole story a person tells about herself? The story wrote itself from that perspective.
